On Monday, Cecile Richards, the former CEO of Planned Parenthood passed away,  following a battle with brain cancer. She was 67 years old.

Richards led Planned Parenthood from 2006 to 2018. During her time as CEO, the organisation performed close to four million abortions, according to information provided by leading US group, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. What an immensely tragic legacy for anyone to leave behind!

Last November, Richards was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her abortion advocacy by former US President Joe Biden.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest civilian award of the United States, alongside the Congressional Gold Medal. In his tribute to Richards, Biden described her as “a leader of the utmost character” who “with absolute courage and conviction fearlessly leads us forward to be the America we say we are — a nation of freedom.”

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the US.
