Last weekend, the inaugural conference of Health Professionals for Life took place in Tralee. Consultant Obstetrician Trevor Hayes, Maria Steen, Dr. Elizabeth Cullen and Catherina O’Sullivan were among the list of guest speakers at the event attended by doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. Mary Fitzgibbon, Lecturer in Nursing and Health Care Sciences, chaired the conference and was one of the main organisers. Bishop Ray Browne and Minister of State Michael Healy Rae were also present to show their support. Congratulations to everyone involved! Events like this play an important role in focussing minds, raising awareness, and highlighting what needs to change to move things in a pro-life direction.
