Actress Patricia Heaton, best known for her leading role in the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, is using her voice to call out what’s happening to unborn babies with Down Syndrome in Iceland, and how the media is portraying it.

It all started when CBS posted a tweet that appeared to frame the situation in Iceland in a positive light. The tweet referenced the country’s near absence of Down syndrome cases among newborns.

But CBS failed to mention that Iceland’s results aren’t due to new treatments or expanded support – they stem from abortion following prenatal testing. Patricia Heaton didn’t mince words in responding to CBS, saying: “Iceland isn’t actually eliminating Down syndrome. They’re just killing everybody that has it. Big difference. ”In Iceland, nearly 100% of unborn babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted.
