A 28-year-old woman employed by an IT company in the United States has alleged that her former boyfriend, who was also a colleague, forced her to take abortion pills, resulting in the death of her unborn child against her wishes. The allegations are contained in a police complaint filed earlier this month.

According to her complaint, she says she was subjected to an extended period of sexual exploitation and physical violence, and alleges that the man deceived her with false promises of marriage. She further claims that he ultimately forced her to undergo a chemical abortion against her will.
