handed down yesterday to the Donegal man who coerced a woman into taking abortion pills and
confined her in a room to make sure the abortion occurred. The perpetrator, who is in his 20s, was
sentenced at Letterkenny Circuit Court to nine years in prison after earlier pleading guilty to the
charges against him.
