Melissa Ohden was the keynote speaker at Celebrate the 8th. She spoke to the crowd about how, as a baby, she survived a failed abortion and was left to die before being saved by the intervention of a nurse who took pity on her. Melissa’s story is one of hope and survival against the odds. It also offers us a glimpse into the type of society that places abortion above the human rights of a vulnerable baby.
