Pro-life group, the Susan B. Anthony (SBA) List is spending $2.5 million on TV and digital ads over the next few weeks to highlight the humanity of unborn babies as the US Supreme Court prepares to hear a case that could overturn the 1973 court ruling that legalised abortion across the United States.
One of the ads launched this week features Amy Miles who was born alive after surviving the abortion that was intended to kill her. In the ad, Amy says: “As somebody who survived an abortion, I want to tell the Supreme Court that my life mattered.”
Other ads from Susan B. Anthony List that will run in the coming weeks include a woman who was adopted, a doctor who regrets performing abortions, and a medic who cares for pregnant women and their babies.
In December, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the Dobbs v. Jackson case that considers the Mississippi law that permits abortion up to 15 weeks.
