Leave a gift in your will

and support the life-saving work of the Pro Life Campaign

The Pro Life Campaign promotes pro-life education and defends human life at all stages from conception to natural death. It also campaigns for resources to support and assist pregnant women and those in need of healing after abortion.

The Pro Life Campaign works in a number of ways to achieve this including:

  • working with public representatives to ensure the pro-life position remains on the political agenda
  • liaising with students and young people in schools and universities around Ireland to grow the pro-life movement
  • offering practical support for pregnant women in need and new mothers

In today’s Ireland the legal and cultural protections for vulnerable human life are under attack as never before in our history.

The Pro Life Campaign has never needed your support as urgently as it needs it now. Our work in spreading the pro-life message among public representatives, young people, educators and the wider public is the key to ensuring that ultimately we see an Ireland where all unborn babies are welcomed in life and protected by the law and that pregnant women are positively supported.

By remembering the PLC with a gift in your will, you will ensure we can carry on this vital work year after year.

Why everyone should make a will

Making a will is not something that most of us like to think about but at some stage we all require one. It is important both to protect our loved ones and give effect to our wishes after our death.

It is estimated that two in every five people in Ireland die without making a will, so they forfeit any control over what happens to their assets.

Making your will gives you the opportunity to state exactly how your estate should be divided, and who should benefit.

Keeping your will up to date

Everyone’s life goes through certain changes, both happy and sad. Often these changes make it essential for a person to bring his or her will up to date. For instance, amendments are often necessary after the death of a spouse or someone else in the family or life-changing events such as marriage, the birth of a child or retirement.

You can change your will at any time during your life.
