Note: Abortions on Scottish residents performed in England and Wales are included in the figures. It is generally about 300-400 per annum. It was 264 in 2010. Figures for N. Ireland represent residents of Northern Ireland who underwent abortions in England & Wales and exclude abortions carried out in Northern Ireland.
